‘We’ and ‘Us’ mean London City Business School *LCBS). LCBS provides a range of accredited qualifications to worldwide audience and works with select and qualified partners.

‘You’ means the learner receiving our services or the user browsing our website to find a suitable product, depending on the situation.

‘Course’ means any of our service that could be our accredited course or a training event.

Fee Payments

All courses fee must be paid before the start date of the course. All payments are made via bank transfer and each course purchased is an individually selected item just for you. As such payment are final.

Please Note: Once you have registered for the course and made the first payment, you will have entered in a legally binding contract; your full course fee and registration fee will be due in all cases. Non-payment of the course will prevent access and will prevent you from starting.

In case of any default, further fees may be added via a debt recovery agency. LCBS reserves the right to block access to its services while the outstanding amounts are overdue, including any charges applicable in case of default.

Payment Plans

If we have agreed a payment plan with you, you must strictly follow it without an exception. Late or non-payment will result in a breach of contract, for which LCBS reserves the right to pursue legal means. Charges and interest might also be added. Access to our services might be blocked while the outstanding amounts are outstanding.

Enrolment Conditions

You are required to submit all the documents to satisfy the requirements for English language proficiency and entry criteria; this information is communicated clearly via email and without meeting the requirements your study cannot start.

Once enrolled on an accredited course, you will be allowed access to the first unit which is clearly broken down into individual learning outcomes and small activities for the ease of the learners. Once you have completed the unit, you will be able to unlock the assignment for that unit and submit it whenever you are ready. Once the assignment has been submitted, you will be allowed access to the next unit. This cycle will continue till you have passed all the units.

You are allowed to take small breaks from the course without any prior approval. For breaks longer than 21 consecutive days, you must send an email to studentsupport@londoncitybusinessschool.co.uk. For breaks longer than 60 days, there is an admin charge of £100 payable before the break can be issued.

If you stop the course for longer than 60 days without prior agreement and payment of this charge, LCBS reserves the right to terminate your admission and still pursue you for the outstanding debt. This is because we have fixed overheads cost and are unable to allow unnecessary delays after charging such low tuition fee as compared to most rivals.

Discount Codes

LCBS issues promotional and discount codes for various reasons at various times. These coupon codes are eligible for limited time period and have set expiry dates. Only one discount code can be applied at a time, for one person, regardless the number of purchased courses.

Courier/Postage Charges

All qualification fee includes courier/postage charges for certificate dispatch service. If a certificate is sent but returns to LCBS for any reason, including but not limited to, incorrect address provided by the learner, you will be charged an extra delivery fee.

For the CPD courses that are auto-delivered and auto-marked, the prices are set very low so the certificate is only available online in digital form. However, if you wish to order a hard copy of the certificate with the official seal, then the following charges will apply:

  1. Postage within the UK – £49
  2. Postage for the rest of the world – £99

Cancellation of Course and Fee Refunds

You are allowed to cancel the course and registration up to the point that the course has been made available to your learner dashboard. Once the course has been made available to your dashboard, it is not possible to cancel anymore. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you go through the course content very carefully and let us know if you have any questions, prior to starting the course with us.

Assignment Submission Deadlines

Please note that assignment submission for each unit is mandatory to proceed to the next unit. You must complete all assignments before due dates. The due dates will allow sufficient time for you to complete the assignment.

All assignments are submitted via the submission website. You will be provided with training on how to use this website and its features and support is available (details are on the main page, alternatively you can always email studentsupport@londoncitybusinessschool.co.uk).

If you are facing any issue with submission deadlines, please contact your tutor or send us an email at studentsupport@londoncitybusinessschool.co.uk

Assignment Extensions

If you are struggling with your submission deadline, please do get in touch with your tutor who will be able to offer extension provided there are good enough reasons to do so.

Timely submission of work is an important professional trait so we will appreciate if the learners do not abuse the extension options, where available.

Assignment Moderation

Please Note: All assignments marked by a tutor will be sent for internal Verification before the results are released to the learners. It means that you may be asked to improve some elements of your assignment in order to meet the expectations of the awarding organisation.

If any improvements are required, you will be adequately guided, and appropriate additional time will be given you to improve. The great news is that there is no limit to how many times you can resubmit your work, as far as you are making reasonable progress and are showing willingness to improve your work.

Plagiarism policy

LCBS has a very strict policy on plagiarism, as this amounts to academic misconduct, which would result in LCBS terminating your admission. If that happens, no fees shall be returned. You are, therefore, strongly advised to pay attention to the relevant instructions at the time of induction. When you enrol, you will be provided with the relevant policies to make sure that you are aware of how to submit your work and what rules and standards you must follow.

Transferring your Course

LCBS is at this time unable to transfer your course from one category to another. In exceptional case where we believe that the transfer is inevitable, we will not be able to make any refunds and you will have to pay both the tuition fee and the awarding body fee for the new course.

Course Accreditation

All our accredited courses are accredited by awarding organisations that are approved by a UK regulatory body. This can be The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), the regulatory body in the UK, or any other recognised regulatory body. LCBS has can have multiple awarding bodies, depending on the study.

Keeping your records up to date

You must notify LCBS if any of your details have changed after you registered for the course. This includes any changes to your name, contact number, email address and correspondence address.
